Love has united human beings for billions of years now. Love cannot only be classified as a feeling; it is an untimely emotion. The concept of love has been misunderstood for a long period of time. On the basis, love is simply devotion or attachment to another being, like ourselves. However, love is way more complicated than that. Love is eternal, it exists in the past, present, and the further future, it cannot be erased. Love is timeless, the period of love cannot end, until both beings involved succumb to an untimely demise, it is forever to be exact. And love is boundless, no matter the gender, religion, beliefs, caste, creed, ethnicity, etc, the concept of love exists in all. Based on these three factors, love has existed for centuries now. However, with changing times, the concept of love changes as well. In olden times, such as in the Victorian, or Georgian era, the concept of love was quite different. The factor, known as love is boundless, did not exist in the minds of anyone, in these golden eras. Back in those olden times, love only existed as a means of sacred enjoinment, a type of ritual to unite the upper classes, it did not exist between different kinds of people. This understanding of love is the most far rooted understanding a person can have. It is despicable, and quite disgusting in a common person's opinion, nowadays. Thus, to indulge on the topic of what is love, in modern-day society, is an interesting topic, to say the least. Today, the idea of love is quite different, compared to what it was centuries ago. In these days, love exists between all, it is no longer a forced feeling, it is an accepted emotion. In the olden times, not one human being could have imagined, what love was to become in the future. This is evident enough proof, that love changes significantly, with the changing times, and with the changing ideas of it. Today, in the 21st century, people are not forced into love, or arranged marriages, compared to the 18th, and 19th centuries. Nowadays, everyone imagines falling in love, finding the partner to spend eternity with, and devoting oneself to that being. It is quite a misunderstood concept, even today. Thus, we should take immensely careful decisions, on deciding who that partner shall become, for us. Now, permanently moving onto the topic of love, in a modern-day society. As I have indulged in before, love is adversely different, when compared to the concept of love in the olden times. Nowadays, different types of people, are permitted to indulging and interacting with each other, when almost 100 years ago, it was forbidden, and by many countries, it was even considered a sin. However, with the changing times, and with the changing norms, this concept of intercaste love, is becoming even more and more common. Today, one is not forced into, or even rushed into marriage, it is simple by choice that people get married in the 21st century. Arranged marriages, do even exist today, but their numbers have severely dropped since the 18th, or 19th century. Love doesn't just exist between two people, there is love between family members, friends, people in society, and even a few famous strangers, are loved dearly in today's world. These days, love exists even between different sets of genders, unlike in the olden times. However, even today, various people are still against this newfound concept of love between castes, creeds, genders, races, and other factors concerning us as humans. Due to the judgement of these types of people, love still remains in treacherous bounds, unable to be freely felt. The ideology of love in today’s world, would be considered a foreign abbreviation of the concept of love, if it was adopted in the earlier centuries. People even face failed love encounters, causing them immense heartbreak. Many famous figures, such as William Shakespeare, have also indulged on the concept of love. Shakespeare emphasises that love is but a spiritual emotion, that greatly transcends physical, or mental understanding. Various other poets, have also elaborated on the concept of love, through their published works. For example, Edgar Allan Poe, a successful poet, and writer, released several poems, which found their foundation on love. He significantly changed the understanding of love, for the modern person. Thus, he is attributed as an eminent figure in the development on love, for the masses.

When we indulge and observe the concept of love, in the modern world, we come through many different varieties of disruptions.

Mainly, love in the modern world is not all that beautiful, it is on the contrary, full of arguments, disagreements, and other forms of verbal violence. Couples in the modern world, unnecessarily find themselves in wretched arguments, often engaging in them for close to hours. This can be easily and simply resolved by indulging on the basis of the argument, and talking it through with your respected partner. Other than disagreements taking place between love driven couples, several other factors also form the basis of their relationship. For example, trust and honesty, is a very important factor when considering the idea of love between two individual people. When a person involved in the relationship remains untrustworthy, and unloyal, it can cause several arising problems on the basis of that couple's relationship. As you can observe, these factors cannot be easily deciphered, and observed through, thus, the concept of modern-day love is a difficult topic to indulge in, when taking these factors into account.

Various famous destinations, are also known for their overall divinity in the concept of love. Paris is often considered the city of love, among a majority of today's modern-day couples. The feeling of the divinity of love, is famously felt around the air. Thus, it is categorised as the city of everlasting love.

As I have concluded before, love doesn't just exist between two individuals, it is even felt between joint families. Family has been the basic concept, on the basis of love, for centuries now. Family is the most important factor of any common man's life. Without family, one is unable to explore the grounds of love, and feel it at a growing stage. Therefore, family also forms a major bond in the basic concept of love, today in the modern-day, as well as, in the ancient society.

Love emerged as simply a deep-rooted spiritual connection between two sets of individuals. However, since then, the concept of love has changed significantly. Love is starting to be more understood, and conceptualized, in the modern world, when compared to the ancient, and medieval eras. On the basis of these observations, the understanding of love is for seen, and understood in several different ways. In simple words, love is purely a feeling of affection. When two people start to get acquainted with each other, over time, if they start to take notice of instances, which show that they have a lot more in common than they expected. This instance of taking notice, is what forms the grounds of love, in the modern world. Over time, they start to develop the infamous feeling of love, due to this reason. Love takes into part both boons, as well as banes. The feeling of love, can cause happiness, as well as heartbreak, and sadness. Love is but an empty emotion, waiting to be developed between two acquainted individuals. On the other hand, love cannot be felt by every single individual, that has crossed this Earth. It is purely by chance that love is developed between individuals, and even purer in chance that it develops completely. One should be mindful to not force oneself into love, and only pursue it if they are completely convinced, they have discovered it. Thus, love in modern society, can be allocated, or categorised as a rare occurrence, indeed. But at long last, love is but an emotion, and a complicated one at that. Affection is also very closely associated with the infamous emotion of love. Affection does not however, always associate with love. An individual can have affection for someone, or something, whether they have love in their heart for that individual, or not. Affection is the interest or fascination of an exterior being. Love can simply be categorised as the prickling, but exciting, piercing, but intense, and immediate feeling of intense fascination for someone. Thus, it is very closely related, as well as associated, with the feeling of affection. Love is also a necessary emotion. Being one of the emotions that forms the stronghold, of our nearly tenfold society. Love simply cannot exist in humans, unless they are truly pure in heart. Without love, a human being exists just as a body, a desperately waiting body, scouring for the affection of love. These individuals are who we call bodyless individuals, in the term of emotions, or more specifically emotionless individuals. Thus, love is not only purely existent, it is also quite the necessary emotion.
